This view of Littleton, New Hampshire was published by the Hartman Card & Souvenir Co. of Portland, Maine, and has an interesting “old man of the mountain” logo on the back.

Published by Hevey’s Pharmacy and printed by the Miller Art Co., this white border postcard shows Kimball’s Castle on Lake Winnepesaukee. The historic building is today undergoing restoration, having been built in 1897 by railroad baron Benjamin Kimball.

Architectual subjects from the linen area are plentiful, and often boring, but at least this view of the Manchester, N.H. post office includes cars to break the monotony. It was produced by Tichnor Bros.

This crudely printed white border card is the handiwork of the Miller Art Co., and shows the post office in Laconia, New Hampshire.

Published by Detroit Publishing, this white border postcard offers a view down “The Flume”, part of the Franconia Notch mountain pass in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. There’s a message on the back: “Sept. 25 -1919- Dear Sister, Just got your nice letter. – This card shows the flumes we went to see. Solid granite Mtn. is more water than in this picture – its 1 mi. long – way up into Mt.- Chessley says he going to Hampden Monday ago to Bangor High. He had been so sore but better. Will write very soon – but so much to do. So long, Love Miltie.”

Printed by Tichnor Bros., this linen card shows Mount St. Mary’s College in Hooksett, New Hampshire. Designed in 1905, Mount St. Mary’s closed in 1978 and was converted into condominiums in 2005.
